So we have talked a little bit about both of these topics in the past. As you know, I am a dad, and being such I have a very specific mantra…function over form. As long as it does what it is supposed to, I don’t care what it looks like. I don’t care what shade of green or purple something is…I just want it to work. This is no different when it comes to Fuzzi Bunz colors. Now, having said that I realize that the majority of individuals that will read this post will be moms, and they will totally disagree with me. I fully expect that. Remember, I am married to a wonderful woman, and the color choices and pattern selections ARE important to her.

This is one of the things that I have noticed and like about the Fuzzi Bunz brand diapers. Not only are they fully functional, but they also have a wide array of colors and patterns to choose from. In our personal stock of Fuzzi Bunz diapers I have some that are cute little prints of teddy bears, and lots of very vivd colors. We also have a couple of the diapers that are in a nice mellow pastel. They really have something for everybody.

So let me ask you dear reader…does the color selection of a diaper make a difference when you are looking to purchase a diaper. Would you purchase from a Fuzzi Bunz sale even if they didn’t have a color or pattern that you desired? Is the Fuzzi Bunz sale enough to entice you to purchase the product or does it have to look just right as well?

I can tell you, from a guy’s perspective (ask your husbands if you doubt me) we don’t care what it looks like, as long as it does its job!

I am looking forward to getting your comments on this.

Now get out there and find that Fuzzi Bunz sale !

I have spoken about Fuzzi Bunz cloth diaper reviews in the past. The market for used Fuzzi Bunz is fairly competitive, and if you spend enough time online you can find some decent deals. As with anything online, one of the challenges is always finding the information you want, and getting rid of all the extra data and spam. There are several sites you can look at to find a good Fuzzi Bunz sale, or information about where to get used Fuzzi Bunz. One of my previous posts speaks about Fuzzi Bunz clearance and Fuzzi Bunz seconds. If you are looking for information on these topics, please see this post – Fuzzi Bunz seconds .

So, for those of you looking for Fuzzi Bunz reviews, you can check out a couple of helpful sites on the web. One of the ones I have begun to frequent is diaperpin.com. The site provides lots of information about all of the different brands of cloth diapers and it also provides great reviews from the people that use them. I have found the diaper reviews very helpful, and I think you will also. The other site I have found helpful is diaperswappers.com. This site has information about FuzziBunz and all of the other types of diapers as well, and it has a broad user community that has a good deal of information dealing with cloth diapers.

First, let’s start this article off by discussing Fuzzi Bunz nappies. Some of you are familiar with the term, I was not. As near as I can tell, Fuzzi Bunz nappies are just another name for your plain old, run of the mill Fuzzi Bunz Diaper. It appears to be a vernacular thing when you are dealing with Brits and Aussies. I am sure our use of the word diaper seems a little strange to them. If any of you reading this have a clearer understanding as to whether or not there is a difference between Fuzzi Bunz nappies and Fuzzy Bunz diapers, please let me know and we will post your input here on the site.

On to the serious stuff. If you have spent any time at all reading the site, you know that I spend a good deal of time wandering around the Internet trying to dig up Fuzzi Bunz reviews and other assorted information on this and other brands of cloth diapers. FuzziBunz diapers are my favorite though. There are several reasons for this: they diapers fit my infants and toddlers well, they typically don’t leak (even when they get very wet, and they withstand the daily wear and tear exceptionally well. My wife goes to great lengths to ensure they are properly cleaned and stored, but I feel they are a great product.

I know that for some people they can be a little pricey which is why I have written articles about buying used Fuzzi Bunz. However, there is another alternative…making your own. I know this sounds like a lot of work, but my wife has had great success with this. As a matter of fact, I just found a new Fuzzi Bunz diaper pattern that I sent over her way (you can find it here – http://www.geocities.com/gabrielbaby1/fuzzibunz.html). I will let you know what kind of success my wife has with it, and how difficult it is. If you make one, please write back and let me know how it worked out for you.

Now get out there and try those Fuzzi Bunz nappies!

If you have spent any time reading this blog, you know that I am a huge fan of Fuzzy Bunz diapers and love to provide Fuzzi Bunz reviews. We started cloth diapering a couple of years ago and are totally hooked. We have tried several of the other brands of cloth diapers (I have even written about some of them on this site), but in my opinion none of them compare to the performance of Fuzzi Bunz diapers.

Many people that I speak with are concerned about the initial cost of getting started using Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers, but I let them know that there are cost effective ways to get started with cloth diapering and slowly build your inventory. One of the options available is used Fuzzi Bunz. I know, there are going to be many of you out there that say “Yuck!”, but I assure you that I have never had a problem with used Fuzzi Bunz. My experience has been that most people who use these cloth diapers take very good care of them, and go to great lengths to ensure they stay clean.

Fuzzi Bunz seconds have a distinct advantage in that they reduce the cost of starting down the cloth diaper path, and allow you to get a feel for whether cloth diapers will work for you. The web is full of Fuzzi Bunz reviews, and you can go out and find additional information about this great product.

Ok, you all know that I am a big fan of Fuzzi Bunz diapers. If you have read any of my previous posts, it will become immediately clear that while I do try and keep an open mind with the other brands of cloth baby diapers that are out there, I really prefer the Fuzzi Bunz brand. Having said that I think we need to talk a little today and the various Fuzzi Bunz colors and the Fuzzi Bunz package that these great diapers are available in

First let’s talk about the wide array of Fuzzi bunz colors there are. In our private inventory we have cream, yellow, green, dark blue, light blue, aqua, burgundy, and more. One of the things that impress me about these Fuzzi Bunz colors is that they don’t fade. I know that has a lot to do with how they are maintained, but even my dress shirts fade after a while…and no one is wearing them on their butt. If you visit their site they have a full detail of all of the colors they offer, these things make great baby gift ideas. It appears that we have almost their entire color assortment.

I also wanted to touch on a Fuzzi Bunz package. I went out and did some research, and this is what I was able to find out. There are several sites out there that do offer a Fuzzi Bunz package that typically acts as a starter kit. The Fuzzi Bunz Store has one of these kits on sale. If you need a Fuzzi Bunz package, you should take a look at what they have to offer in their inventory, you may be able to find what you are looking for. There are also other web retailers that offer a Fuzzi Bunz sale on various items, you just have to get out there and look.

Check back later and I will provide more insight for all of you dads joining me in this cloth diaper adventure. Until then keep your chin up…and your nose plugged.

Please feel free to join our discussion and share your thoughts. We look forward to learning from you!

Ok, as a dad I am ready to admit that there are many things about the glamorous world of baby cloth diapers that I am still learning. Sometimes it is tough to keep all of the diaper makers and brands straight. If you are a fellow diapering dad like me you know exactly what I am talking about. You have your Bumkins, Your Fuzzi Bunz (not Fuzzi Buns), your BumGenius, your Thirsties, and your Punkin Butts just to name a few. As if that weren’t bad enough, you have to learn to remember which of these diapers are the all in one (AIO) model and which ones nees to have covers to keep the contents of the diaper on the inside of the unit. But wait, there is more that we need to begin to consider…

I have begun to do a little bit of research into the cloth diaper package . What is a cloth diaper package you may ask? Simple, it is typically a grouping of diapers together (sometimes at a discount). So, if you had a need for not just a single Fuzzi Bunz cloth diaper, but a stack of them you could contact one of the many cloth diaper stores online and purchase the diapers you need in a bundle instead of individually. Additionally, you can get a sample cloth diaper package (depending on the cloth diaper store you frequent) so that you can choose several types of cloth diapers with a single purchase. I like the feature. That way I don’t have to go out and hunt down a Blueberry diaper, or Bumkins diaper, I can just order a sample pack with them in it.

One of the other potential pluses for this approach is that it allows you to buy bulk cloth diapers in a single transaction as opposed to many smaller purchases that would end up costing you more money in the long run. Additionally, if you choose the right cloth diaper store you may qualify for free shipping on your cloth diapers.

We all just want a wrap or cover that works…don’t we? I have found that what works and what doesn’t work is not always as much fact as fiction. What I mean by this is that much like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is the value or satisfaction with a particular diaper.

I went over to my site of choice, DiaperPin, to do some research on the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap . I needed to know what other people were saying about their experiences with the Bummis wrap. As I alluded to above, the reviews are mixed. It appears that some of those that have purchased the Bummis super whisper wrap have been unhappy with the amount of wicking the cover allows. Additionally, some of the reviewers were not happy with the feel of the wrap, calling it too “plastic” like. Some of the moms seemed to really like their Bummis super whisper wrap and had nothing but good things to say about this Bummis wrap. If you have used this wrap or are currently using it, we would like to hear your story.

As a cloth diapering dad, it is a challenge for me to get up on all of the cloth diapering lingo. It is almost as bad as kids and their super secret texting language. This is nothing new for us men, we have known for a long time that our wives can be a mystery. I think it’s ok for them to have their own secret diapering language…after all we have ours (although it doesn’t center around diapering). The further I get into the cloth diapering underworld the more I find out I don’t know. It gives me a new appreciation for how complex using a Bummis super whisper wrap can be. At least I can go to my wife when I have questions about how to use Bummis diaper covers…who the heck did she learn this stuff from? I think they are born with this knowledge preprogrammed into their mom brains.

In my quest to increase my knowledge about cloth diapering, so that I can be of some use to my wife in this area, I once again dove headlong into the seedy cloth diapering scene to try and get a little more information on the Bummis super whisper wrap I wrote about last time, and the Bummis Super Brite, both of which are Bummis diaper covers. Let me tell you this dads…while there are many forums out there that deal with cloth diapering, I don’t recommend spending a whole lot of time there. Don’t get me wrong, the moms are very knowledgeable, and eager to help, but it just doesn’t feel right. Kind of like walking into a mom’s night out meeting, pulling up a quilt and sitting down with the girls to discuss you travails. It’s just not natural.

As a result of my labor, and a good deal of pleading with my wife, I managed to find a site called DiaperPin. It provides excellent reviews and information on the myriad of diapers (Fuzzi Bunz, bumGenius, Bummis, Bumkins, and the list goes on) available to you as a diapering dad, and you don’t even have to delve into the forums to get the information you are looking for. The site provided very favorable reviews of the Bummis super whisper wrap and the Bummis brite diaper covers. By and large the majority of the reviews were very favorable, and the moms seemed to like the Bummis diaper covers. You should stop in over there and take a look at what they are saying. Now I just have to see what kind of information I can find about Bummis whisper pants.

Ok, I promised another post, and now that Christmas has past, I have a couple of minutes to sit down and talk about another major innovation in the cloth diaper sphere that will make your life easier dad…the Bummis super whisper wrap. I know…it sounds impressive, and it is. The nice thing about saying the name is it actually sounds masculine. As a dad, you can be comfortable talking about the fact that your child is wearing the Bummis super whisper wrap (ok, I may be reaching, but as a dad I will take whatever I can get on this journey).

Down to business, what is the Bummis super whisper wrap? It is really just a diaper cover that has a pretty cool name. This diaper cover acts in a similar manner to other diaper covers that you may be familiar with, but it boasts a leak proof closure system, and it is supposed to fit over any standard flat cloth diaper. The Bummis super whisper wrap uses Aplix as fasteners and provides ample elastic around the legs to ensure that baby stays dry, and dad stays happy. Another bonus feature that the Bummis whisper wrap offers is that due to the design of the Aplix tabs, the Bummis wrap will fit on almost any baby. If you are like my home, I always have at least two in diapers…versatility is a must. The Bummis super whisper wrap also comes in four different prints (I know dads, we care about function…but looks can be important to moms). This Bummis cover may present you with cloth diapering choices you do not currently have. I hope you are able to get some use out of this Bummis wrap.

One of the brands of diapers that we have yet to discuss is those made by Bummis. I don’t have a great deal of time to go into them tonight, but I did want to touch a little on the Bummis diaper and my views of them based on personal experience.

Now let me begin by saying that the child I have used the Bummis diapers on is one of my babies. On him they work very well and are incredibly easy to secure. For those of you with infants you will certainly be able to appreciate the importance of having a diaper that fits well and goes on easily and quickly. One of the design features I liked about the Bummis Diapers is that the Velcro has over-sized tabs which make it very similar to fastening one of the disposable diapers I had become accustomed to before I knew better. One of the things to remember though is that your Bummis may need a Bummis diaper cover. In the event this is the case you can buy a new diaper cover, or you may be able to find a used diaper cover on ebay or diaperswappers.
