So we have talked a little bit about both of these topics in the past. As you know, I am a dad, and being such I have a very specific mantra…function over form. As long as it does what it is supposed to, I don’t care what it looks like. I don’t care what shade of green or purple something is…I just want it to work. This is no different when it comes to Fuzzi Bunz colors. Now, having said that I realize that the majority of individuals that will read this post will be moms, and they will totally disagree with me. I fully expect that. Remember, I am married to a wonderful woman, and the color choices and pattern selections ARE important to her.

This is one of the things that I have noticed and like about the Fuzzi Bunz brand diapers. Not only are they fully functional, but they also have a wide array of colors and patterns to choose from. In our personal stock of Fuzzi Bunz diapers I have some that are cute little prints of teddy bears, and lots of very vivd colors. We also have a couple of the diapers that are in a nice mellow pastel. They really have something for everybody.

So let me ask you dear reader…does the color selection of a diaper make a difference when you are looking to purchase a diaper. Would you purchase from a Fuzzi Bunz sale even if they didn’t have a color or pattern that you desired? Is the Fuzzi Bunz sale enough to entice you to purchase the product or does it have to look just right as well?

I can tell you, from a guy’s perspective (ask your husbands if you doubt me) we don’t care what it looks like, as long as it does its job!

As with anything online, one of the challenges is always finding the information you want, and getting rid of all the extra data and spam. The site provides lots of information about all of the different brands of cloth diapers and it also provides great reviews from the people that use them. I have found the diaper reviews very helpful, and I think you will also. The other site I have found helpful is diaperswappers.com. This site has information about FuzziBunz and all of the other types of diapers as well, and it has a broad user community that has a good deal of information dealing with cloth diapers.

If you have spent any time reading this blog, you know that I am a huge fan of Fuzzy Bunz diapers and love to provide Fuzzi Bunz reviews. We started cloth diapering a couple of years ago and are totally hooked. We have tried several of the other brands of cloth diapers (I have even written about some of them on this site), but in my opinion none of them compare to the performance of Fuzzi Bunz diapers.

Many people that I speak with are concerned about the initial cost of getting started using Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers, but I let them know that there are cost effective ways to get started with cloth diapering and slowly build your inventory. One of the options available is used Fuzzi Bunz. I know, there are going to be many of you out there that say “Yuck!”, but I assure you that I have never had a problem with used Fuzzi Bunz. My experience has been that most people who use these cloth diapers take very good care of them, and go to great lengths to ensure they stay clean.

Fuzzi Bunz seconds have a distinct advantage in that they reduce the cost of starting down the cloth diaper path, and allow you to get a feel for whether cloth diapers will work for you. The web is full of Fuzzi Bunz reviews, and you can go out and find additional information about this great product.

Ok, you all know that I am a big fan of Fuzzi Bunz diapers. If you have read any of my previous posts, it will become immediately clear that while I do try and keep an open mind with the other brands of cloth baby diapers that are out there, I really prefer the Fuzzi Bunz brand. Having said that I think we need to talk a little today and the various Fuzzi Bunz colors and the Fuzzi Bunz package that these great diapers are available in

First let’s talk about the wide array of Fuzzi bunz colors there are. In our private inventory we have cream, yellow, green, dark blue, light blue, aqua, burgundy, and more. One of the things that impress me about these Fuzzi Bunz colors is that they don’t fade. I know that has a lot to do with how they are maintained, but even my dress shirts fade after a while…and no one is wearing them on their butt. If you visit their site they have a full detail of all of the colors they offer, these things make great baby gift ideas. It appears that we have almost their entire color assortment.

I also wanted to touch on a Fuzzi Bunz package. I went out and did some research, and this is what I was able to find out. There are several sites out there that do offer a Fuzzi Bunz package that typically acts as a starter kit. The Fuzzi Bunz Store has one of these kits on sale. If you need a Fuzzi Bunz package, you should take a look at what they have to offer in their inventory, you may be able to find what you are looking for. There are also other web retailers that offer a Fuzzi Bunz sale on various items, you just have to get out there and look.

Fuzzi Bunz Colors

As I have written before…I am a dad. My wife and I have a large family, and I have always prided myself on the fact that I am every bit as domestic as she is. I cook, I clean, I run kids to and fro…in a family our size it has to be a team effort. Changing diapers has never been an issue – mere child’s play! That is until the cloth diapers arrived.

I’ll be the first to admit, when my wife approached me with the idea I was a little reserved to say the least. I was a champ when it came to whipping the little ones in and out of their disposable diapers, but this cloth diaper stuff was way out of my league. Then I met my saving grace…Fuzzi Bunz diapers. I have said before that I am partial to these diapers, and I am convinced it is only because their ease of use (yes, even for a father) that I have been won over to cloth diapering. The system of snaps that the Fuzzi Bunz diaper uses is incredibly easy to master and very similar to that of your run of the mill disposable diaper.

Dad’s, if you are planning on going the cloth diaper route you have to get a special tool…of course we need a special tool – we’re guys. One of the biggest challenges I anticipated (and dreaded) was cleaning out soiled diapers (and I am not talking about garden soil here). I asked myself, how the heck do you clean these things. Luckily (as with so many other things) my wife had the solution. A diaper sprayer. This nifty little tool hooks right up to the toilet and allows you to use a high-pressure spray to clean your Fuzzi Buns diapers out with. This is important for a couple of reasons, one it reduces the mess (unless you hose-down the bathroom in the process), and two, even if these are discount Fuzzi Bunz, or Fuzzi bunz that have been made from a sewing pattern you want them to last.

Fuzzi Bunz Diaper

Ok, so last time we spoke, my wife shared her opinion about the BumGenius one size cloth diaper she has used in the past. As a result of her article I decided to go out online and see what I could discover about the different versions of the diaper that are available (as I understand it there are BumGenius 1.0, BumGenius 2.0,and BumGenius 3.0 versions of the diaper). The reason for my research on the diaper is that my wife feels that a part of her dissatisfaction with the BumGenius diapers may stem from the fact that she used one of the older versions (BumGenius 1.0 possibly).

An additional driving factor for extra research was that many of the individuals she chats with on diaper sites and mom sites speak highly of the BumGenius one size cloth diaper line. I think I used them once or twice (as I am partial to the way that the Fuzzi Buns diapers perform…but that is another post) but I honestly don’t remember being passionate about them one way or the other.

So, the results of my research? I went out to the BumGenius site and did some poking around. It appears that there are in fact 3 versions of the BumGenius one size cloth diaper. The BumGenius 3.0 version features improvements like re-designed stretchy tabs, and a wider slot for the soaker pad. Additionally it also has an insert stopper to help prevent leaking and grippier hook and loop to help the diaper stay on baby. The image of the diaper they provided also shows that there is a fair amount of elastic in the legs of the BumGenius cloth diaper and this helps to keep the baby dry…very important.

Overall it looks like the BumGenius one size cloth diaper has made some improvements in its design. Maybe I will have to try and convince my wife to try some of the BumGenius 3.0 diapers and see how they perform.

BumGenius One Size Cloth Diaper

After hearing quite a bit about these AIO diapers I decided to give them a try. I was not too impressed. They always seemed to wick out the legs which left me changing not only the diaper but the onesie or pants, as well. Frustrating!

Maybe it is because I bought them used or maybe it was the “version” of the diaper. I did not pay attention to which version I bought but later discovered that others were having the same issue – saying one version was better than the other. I do know that I seem to have better luck with Fuzzi Bunz diapers.

So, I guess it’s a personal preference and maybe you’ll have better luck than I did!

BumGenius

So, in our last post we began our discussion about Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers. As I pointed out previously, in the event you didn’t read the previous post, one of the things I like about these diapers is the fact that they are very simple to use. For dads, even those of us who have had lots of experience, this is a big bonus. It means not having to mess with a complicated system of pins and the like.

These cloth diapers, which should not be confused with a cotton cloth diaper, come in various shapes and sizes. This is nice because they do not take a “one size fits all” approach to their diapers. This means that regardless of the size of your little person, you should be able to find a Fuzzi Bunz cloth diaper to fit your child. An additional feature that I like about Fuzzi Bunz diapers is that the snap system that they use on the diapers allows for the growth of your baby. This allows you to use the same diapers during the various stages of your baby’s growth. This helps parents to conserve their money and stick it in an account to pay for college for that little mind .

In the event you have given the Fuzzi Bunz cloth diaper a try and it has not lived up to your expectations, there are other cloth baby diapers you can use such as aBumkins cloth diaper. The Bumkins cloth diaper ahs its own unique traits that help it to stand out from its competitors. Fuzzi Buns Cloth Diaper

Ok, so to start our discussion about Fuzzi Bunz, I will point out a couple of the items that I like about the way they are designed. Allow me to place a small disclaimer here…I am sure that my wife will be writing more later and she is the real Fuzzi Bunz expert, but I can tell you what I like from a dad’s point of view.

As I stated in the initial post, transitioning from standard disposable diapers to cotton cloth diapers was a bit of a challenge for me…it just didn’t seem right. Never mind the fact that people have used baby cloth diapers for hundreds or thousands of years, never mind that millions (maybe billions) of people use similar cloth diaper solutions on a daily basis. As absurd as it sounds I had bought into the marketing machine’s spin on things…cotton cloth diapers were archaic and uncivilized! I suppose the mental picture I had of cloth diapers didn’t help at all either. After all, the only cloth diaper I had ever seen was the one I used to double as a burp cloth…and I knew I wasn’t talented enough to wrap that around one of my children!

However, I was soon introduced to modern diapering…with makers such as Fuzzi Bunz, BumGenius, Bummis and Thirsties. Let me tell you…these were no burp cloths. I have been surprised at how similar they are to standard disposable diapers, but better. As I stated previously, disposable diapers get expensive quickly.

I like the Fuzzi Bunz diapers for several reasons. I like the way they are designed. The cut of the material fits the bodies of my children nicely…and this is important. Trust me, the last thing you want is a surprise leak. The other design item I really like about the Fuzzi Bunz is that they have snaps that are strategically placed on the front of the diaper. The placement of these snaps allows for a snug fit on the child, and no messy surprises. Check them out and let us know what you think. Next time we will look at the BumGenius product line.
